‘Twas the start of the collection season
And inside of St. Ambrose walls
You could hear happy voices
all through the halls.
When, what to my wondering ears should I hear,
But a voice on the announcements, heard loud and clear:
“Attention, attention, please listen to me.
I’ve got some news that fills me with glee.
It’s simple and easy and it’s done at your home.
I’m talking about Box Tops, a dime that is square.
Tell everyone we collect ‘em so they’ll be aware.
Look high and look low
And soon your pile will grow.
Grab your scissors and clip
(But be careful not to slip!)
Ask your family and friends to save them too.
They’ll gather a lot to help us get through.
Clip Box Tops August, September, October and November and shortly you’ll have a big stash.
Bring them into school in the fall and we’ll turn your Box Tops into cash.

Dear St. Ambrose Parents,
My name is Minda Herrera and I’m the volunteer Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Labels for Education coordinator for St. Ambrose Catholic School. It’s time to kick off our 2011-2012 campaigns.
With Box Tops for Education, all you need to do is clip the box tops and send them into the school. Each one is worth 10¢ when our school redeems them. Last year we earned a total of $419 of our $500 goal. This year, the goal has been raised to $1,000!! Another way to earn bonus Box Tops is be registering your Fry’s card at www.rewardyourschool.com. By registering your card each time you make a Box Top eligible purchase bonus Box Tops are automatically sent to our school.
To participate in the Campbell’s program you simply need to save UPC's from participating products. The amount of points on each product varies from 1 point to 10 points. Again, these points can add up quickly and will be used to purchase various educational items for the school. Last year our goal was 5,000 points, and we earned 4,742 points! This year the goal has been raised to 10,000! You can also earn bonus labels by registering your Albertson’s, Safeway, and Fry’s card at www.elabelsforeducation.com.
Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts and supporting St. Ambrose School. I know that with all the wonderful families we have at St. Ambrose these goals can be met, if not surpassed!
