Math & Science Information for Jan.9-13
8th Grade Algebra:
I will let the students know which day(s) I will be tutoring beginning next week.
We are graphing and writing linear equations. We will be using our TI 84's to graph as well as graphing by hand.
There is a great deal of material that needs to be covered to get the students ready for HS so I will be pushing them and I hope you will help me keep them motivated!
6-8th Grade Science:
A Science Club meeting will be scheduled for the students next week-probably Monday
We are beginning our study of the History of the Earth. There are 3 main parts: What is the earth made of; rocks, fossils, and crystals, and what types of energy changed and continues to change the face of our Earth (volcanos, etc).
We will continue as Ms. Alderman did. Lots of hands on activities (labs) and doing most of our work in class.
