Pilot Food Program

The St. Ambrose Parent Organization mission supports and enhances the St. Ambrose community, school and parish through teamwork, volunteerism and community building, which encompasses the vision and mission of the church. Our motto is “Faith in action”. A need was identified in the community and SAPO answered.

SAPO is pleased to announce that our group will be offering a pilot food program for the 2009/2010 school year. Our goal is to provide nutritious and inexpensive meals with choices of fruits, vegetables and whole grains daily. 

Lunch

Breakfast & Snack Bar

Breakfast (cereal, fruit) will be available 7:00– 7:45. The snack bar will be available during lunch. Breakfast/Snack Bar cards will be available for $10.00. All snack bar items will be either $0.50 or $1.00. This will include breakfast items (cereal) and lunch items (sandwiches, bean burritos).

Ordering

Menus/order forms will be available a month in advance online and in the front office. Orders will be due by the 15^th of the previous month. Snack bar cards will be available for $10.
